Delineator with integrated
wild animal warning reflector –
efficient protection for humans and animals

Delineators with integrated wild animal warning reflectors of the company Beilharz make an important contribution for security on roads as well as the protection of humans and animals. Per year average 200.000 wild game accidents with partly high damage to property, people and animal are definitively too much.

Beyond this background delineators with integrated wild animal warning reflectors proved as efficient protection. The integrated wild animal warning reflector diverts the light meeting from the vehicle to the rear transverse to the lane, so that an optical warning fence develops, which holds the wild animals back from entering or crossing the lane. In order to do not disturb the natural wild animal change, this effect enters only if a vehicle approaches.

The reflectors used for the wild animal warning function are totally flat attached in sunken bags below the black daytime marking. Thus it is guaranteed that the reflectors turn the light backing the area and not to the vehicle. A glare danger of the driver is thus impossible.

As integrated wild animal warning reflector we use standard the same white universal reflector (plastic), which is used within the wedge-shaped wild animal warning reflector for a later assembly. The universal reflector is standard available in white. Advantage of the universal reflector is that within assembly you don’t have to differentiate between different types of areas. The universal reflector is to use variable for sloping-up or sloping down locations and ground level. The white colour of the reflector also offers the best possible reflexion of the light.

On request the wild animal warning reflector is also available in other colours. On the one hand a red reflector. However within this reflector you have to differentiate between the different types of areas, because this one is not a universal reflector. We differentiate between ground-level, sloping-op or sloping-down area. On the other hand the delineator can be equipped with a blue or blue-white reflector. This are each an aluminum plate with reflexion foil of type 3.

As delineator we use our proven Beilharz delineator made of high molecular low-pressure polyethylene (PE-HD-HM). The delineator with integrated wild animal warning reflector is available as ground-mounted delineator, dig-in delineator or shear-off delineator.

To achieve best stability within the delineator with integrated wild animal warning reflector we recommend the use of a delineator with a thickness of 4,5mm.
